Irene is the official photographer of the 31st Anniversary Annual Conference of the Ontario GerontologyAssociation, April 25-26, 2012 held at the Doubletree by Hilton Toronto Airport, 655 Dixon Rd., Toronto, Ontario. Included at the conference is the presentation of the of the Second Annual OGA Positive Aging Award to The Honourable David Crombie, P.C., O.C., and O. Ont.

Irene will be giving a lighting workshop for seniors at St. Clair Services for Seniors on Monday February 27, 2012.

On display at Brookfield Place, 181 Bay Street, Toronto, ON from November the 28th to December the 9th, 2011; daily from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Irene has a photograph that will appear in the exhibit taken at the “Taoist Tai Chi Society of Canada”- Bathurst Street Branch.

Debby Vigoda was a founding officer and 2nd President and Executive Director of the OGA for eighteen years and has written two pieces in Irene’s book “Aging Is Living- Myth Breaking Stories From Long Term Care”. Dr. Norm Shulman is now the Executive Director.
