Debby Vigoda was a founding officer and 2nd President and Executive Director of the OGA for eighteen years and has written two pieces in Irene’s book “Aging Is Living- Myth Breaking Stories From Long Term Care”.

Dr. Norm Shulman is now the Executive Director.

Canadian Conference on Elder Law

Irene’s book “Aging Is Living- Myth Breaking Stories From Long Term Care” will be given to the guest speakers and Irene will be at the conference selling her book.

Presentations for Nurses and Personal Supports at Joseph Leitman – Able Home Health Care

Beginning on Tuesday October the 19th, 2010 Irene will be doing a series of presentations for nurses and personal support workers who are feeling “burnt out” after caring for people who are suffering from dementia.She will also be giving presentations for the staff on communicating with people who have Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
Irene will be doing some presentations for the family councils on positive aging despite life’s difficulties.
