Irene will be doing the photography for the Ontario Gerontology 30th Anniversary – Annual Conference. Debby Vigoda was a founding officer and 2nd President and Executive Director of the OGA for eighteen years and has written two pieces in Irene’s book “Aging Is Living- Myth Breaking Stories From Long Term Care”.

The Canadian Conference on Elder Law – in conjunction with the Law Commission of Ontario “Developing an Anti-Ageist Approach of the Law” is being held at the Sutton Place Hotel in Toronto, Ont from October the 28th to the 30th
Irene’s book “Aging Is Living- Myth Breaking Stories From Long Term Care” will be given to the guest speakers and Irene will be at the conference selling her book.
October 27, 2010 at Seneca College Irene will be giving a “Tribute to Graduates Speech”. A copy of that speech can be found by clicking here.
Beginning on Tuesday October the 19th, 2010 Irene will be doing a series of presentations for nurses and personal support workers who are feeling “burnt out” after caring for people who are suffering from dementia.She will also be giving presentations for the staff on communicating with people who have Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
Irene will be doing some presentations for the family councils on positive aging despite life’s difficulties.
